CAROLINE NYAKATA & ONALETHATA MOGATOSI - Find Your Peace

Caroline Nyakata is an emerging South African poet and writer from Rustenburg who found her initial love for writing by composing song lyrics in her early teens. After high school, she began embracing the life of a storyteller, sharing her early poetry on social media before developing her manuscript. She co-authored the poetry collection Find Your Piece with Onalethata Mogatosi, a work characterized by its raw and passionate exploration of the modern South African youth experience. Nyakata writes to articulate the shared highs and lows of human existence, serving as a voice for those who struggle to express their own stories. Ultimately, her work is driven by the belief that everyone is searching for their "Piece"—something authentic to sustain them in life.
